About the position

The Assets Protection Operations Manager (APOM) at Target is responsible for leading a secure work environment within a supply chain facility. This role involves managing a team of Target Security Specialists to execute Assets Protection routines and initiatives, ensuring the safety and security of team members, vendors, and visitors. The APOM will also support building leadership in security incident management and crisis resolution, while building strong relationships with law enforcement and community agencies to mitigate theft and fraud activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure execution of routines to identify, investigate, and resolve theft and fraud activity.
• Build strong relationships with law enforcement and community agencies.
• Educate team members on operational shortage priorities and physical security practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Assets Protection/Loss Prevention or retail/warehouse environments.
• Strong critical thinking, reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with great interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and manage conflict.
