About the position

Elements Massage Troy is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the growth and sales of the massage studio. This role involves managing client relationships, overseeing appointment scheduling, and ensuring a high standard of service and cleanliness in the studio. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for motivating the team and contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Comfortable and motivated with sales, providing training on the proven sales process to sell Wellness Programs, gift cards, upgrades, and more.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with clientele by creating a safe environment and an excellent experience every time.
  • Effectively schedule and manage appointments in person and over the phone.
  • Communicate and collaborate with teammates who bring uniqueness to the business.
  • Think critically and creatively to problem solve.
  • Help keep the studio clean and well-maintained, ensuring a 5-star review standard for cleanliness.
  • Bring positive energy to the workplace and contribute to a fun atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Experience in management in a spa environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible days and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience with Mind Body Software is a plus.
