About the position

The Assistant Account Executive will support the Employee Benefits department at HUB International by assisting Account Executives with daily client management tasks. This role focuses on maintaining client accounts, resolving service issues, and preparing marketing materials, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Account maintenance, including updates to client files, scanning and attaching of plan documents, and updating Employee Benefits systems and databases
  • Assisting with marketing proposals, paperwork, and presentation preparation
  • Assists in the resolution of common account issues through internal Underwriting infrastructure and/or matrix partners
  • Research and resolve low complexity billing, claims and enrollment issues as needed
  • Revising, editing, and binding presentation materials as needed
  • Performing other administrative functions as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in an Employee Benefits insurance environment
  • 4-year college degree a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Superb attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with Employee Benefits systems and databases a plus (BenefitPoint, HR Connections & MYWave)
  • Interest in obtaining LA&H license a plus
