About the position

The Assistant Account Executive role at HUB International is designed to support the Long-Term Care division by managing various administrative tasks related to insurance policies and client interactions. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the account management team, focusing on customer service and policy management.

Responsibilities

  • Issuance of certificates of Insurance, ID cards, and schedule of insurance.
  • Assist in handling applications, endorsements, billing, and updating policies.
  • Prepare proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
  • Process placement requests and invoicing.
  • Liaise with the Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges.
  • Handle or refer insured's and underwriter's questions.
  • Perform other specific duties as directed by the Account Executive.
  • Respond to service inquiries and process add/term requests.
  • Provide assistance in managing the renewal process.
  • Follow up with carriers to obtain outstanding information.
  • Update internal reporting systems and internal databases as necessary.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years prior office experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • NY P&C License preferred.
  • Familiarity with Epic software is a plus.
