About the position
The Assistant Account Manager for Commercial Lines at AssuredPartners plays a crucial role in supporting the Commercial Lines department by delivering exceptional risk management solutions to clients. The role emphasizes client service, administrative support, and continuous learning in the insurance field.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in creating correspondence to carriers and clients, including transmission of final audits, policy binders, renewals, and other written communications.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Manage accounts by entering client information into the agency management system, auditing client data, processing change requests, and preparing notices of cancellations and reinstatements.
- Engage in self-directed learning to increase insurance knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
- Maintain carrier updates and bulletins.
Requirements
- 1+ years of commercial insurance experience and/or training preferred.
- Property and Casualty License required (FL 2-20 or 4-40).
- Working knowledge of available commercial lines coverages based on business and industry.
- Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Agency Management software or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software.
