About the position

The Assistant Account Manager is responsible for supporting the Account Manager in various tasks, particularly during absences or vacations. This role focuses on enhancing the influence of On-Premise purchase intent for Budweiser and A-B High-End products among contemporary adult consumers. The position requires effective communication with management and adherence to company standards while implementing sales promotions and maintaining product integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Assume all specific job responsibilities related to the Account Manager position during absences or vacations.
  • Ensure proper rotation of product using the color code system.
  • Maintain knowledge of all pricing, promotions, and company goals.
  • Communicate changes and occurrences in the market to management, including competitive activity.
  • Sell-in and maintain new packages and displays.
  • Maintain package integrity and quality standards in the marketplace.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and team meetings.
  • Adhere to company standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement relevant sales promotion programs and conduct sampling sessions.
  • Aggressively merchandise with creative themes and permanent point-of-sale materials.
  • Communicate retailer and consumer comments regarding competitive activity and market trends.
  • Intensify call frequency on key high-volume contemporary adult accounts.
  • Track and measure all account activity.
  • Complete any other tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Utilization of a personal vehicle for business purposes, adhering to company image and safety standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage as determined by Suncoast Beverage Sales.
  • Physical ability to complete all job tasks, including repetitive lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs continuously and overhead.
  • Willingness to work until the entire job is completed, including in adverse weather conditions.
  • Complete all required training for the position and safety training.
  • Become certified in ABU Selling Skills and all other required certifications.
  • Read, review, and be prepared to explain the Suncoast Beverage Sales Policy Manual.
  • Basic math and computer skills are required.
  • Strong communicative skills and self-motivation with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Attend all scheduled company and team meetings.
