About the position

The Administrative-I position at Simon Property Group is a part-time role that provides essential support to the mall management staff at St Johns Town Center. The role focuses on various administrative tasks, including financial support, event coordination, and general office management, ensuring smooth operations within the property management team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the property's financial cycle related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, procurement card, petty cash, and property budget.
  • Assist with the administration of marketing events, promotions, sponsorships, and the Kidgits Program.
  • Coordinate and assist with short-term leasing agreements, tracking milestones, and updating records in SLIM or One World.
  • Assist with obtaining and processing monthly rent, tenant sales, and overage rent.
  • Perform general office administrative tasks such as ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies, preparing customer complaint responses, and drafting documents for management.
  • Provide updates on Company Policies and Procedures and assist with Human Resources administration as needed.
  • Offer general administrative support and projects as directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or professional school preferred.
  • 2-4 years of administrative office experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, customer service principles, and practices.
  • Aptitude for understanding financial reports and extracting information.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, OneWorld, and web-based input software.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative.
