About the position
The Assistant Admissions Coordinator at Genesis Healthcare plays a crucial role in maximizing the nursing center census by implementing an effective admissions process. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with admission sign-in protocols and maintaining high levels of patient and family satisfaction. The role involves coordinating the referral flow admissions process and conducting admissions counseling and tours for potential customers and their families.
Responsibilities
- Implement an effective, streamlined admissions process on a 24-hour, 7-days per week basis to ensure admission sign-in compliance and a high level of patient/family satisfaction.
- Coordinate the nursing center referral flow admissions process including community sales, referral management and admission sign-in, through post-admission utilizing the Genesis Core Operating System (PCC).
- Conduct admissions counseling and tours with potential customers, families, and/or responsible parties.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to adjust work schedule based on nursing center's business need, specifically admission flow.
