About the position

The Assistant Art Teacher position is designed for a motivated individual who is eager to support lead teachers in providing art education to students. The role involves working with children primarily in the late afternoon and early evening on weekdays, as well as during the day on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with multi-cultural students and will possess a warm and nurturing demeanor, essential for fostering a positive learning environment. This position is part-time, with hours scheduled from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays. The Assistant Art Teacher will be responsible for managing younger children, specifically in Kindergarten and Elementary grades, ensuring that they engage in creative activities that promote artistic expression and development.
