About the position

Saint Mary's College of California is seeking an Assistant/Associate Adjunct Faculty member to teach a course in Supply Chain Analytics (OPS-529-01) for the Spring 10 Week Term 2025. This course is part of the MS in Management and Technology Program and will be conducted in-person on the SMC campus in Moraga, California, every Wednesday from April 9 to June 11, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive overview of supply chain management, emphasizing the importance of effective collaboration with suppliers and customers to gain competitive advantages. Students will learn various techniques for analyzing and optimizing supply chains, including process analysis, forecasting, inventory models, quality management, the six-sigma approach, lean systems, and sustainability. The position requires a commitment to the educational benefits of diversity and a dedication to fostering an integrative learning environment that values shared inquiry and student interaction.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience or familiarity with online/hybrid instruction.

  • Experience in supply chain management or related fields.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in supply chain management.
