The Assistant/Associate Director of Creative Content plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Creative Content and Brand Advancement within the Intercollegiate Athletics department at Eastern Kentucky University. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the creative content unit, focusing on producing high-quality creative materials that promote EKU student-athletes, coaches, and teams. The individual in this role will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive video strategy, ensuring that all visual content aligns with the branding and messaging of EKU athletics. The position requires a strong emphasis on photography, video production, and graphic design. The Assistant/Associate Director will attend most EKU home athletic events and travel to capture significant content during away games. This role is essential in enhancing the visibility and appeal of EKU athletics through engaging and dynamic content that resonates with fans and the broader community. The successful candidate will utilize various creative tools and software to produce content that not only showcases athletic achievements but also tells compelling stories about the individuals involved in the program. In addition to content creation, the Assistant/Associate Director will also support the overall functions of the office by completing various duties and special projects as assigned.
