About the position

The University of Cincinnati's Department of Engineering & Computing Education (DECE) is seeking applications for non-tenure track faculty positions at all levels (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor). The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science, while also advancing the scholarship of teaching and learning through research. Faculty will engage in teaching, scholarly activities, and service to the department and university, contributing to the development of first-year educational programs and preparing students for professional success.

Responsibilities

  • Teach first-year engineering courses and potentially undergraduate and graduate courses in engineering education.
  • Engage in scholarly activities and publish or present findings at conferences.
  • Perform service at the department, college, university, and professional societies levels, including mentoring and advising students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the college to achieve strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in Engineering Education or a related discipline.
