About the position
The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is seeking multiple tenure-track faculty members in the Computer Science Department, starting in Fall 2025. The positions are open to exceptional candidates across all areas of Computer Science, with a focus on Cybersecurity and AI applications. The faculty will contribute to both undergraduate and graduate programs, pursue external funding, and engage in research and publication activities.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the department's undergraduate and graduate instructional programs.
- Pursue external funding for research initiatives.
- Publish research findings in top conferences and journals.
- Teach at the main campus and potentially at the satellite location in Jersey City as needed.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline by Summer 2025.
- Outstanding academic credentials demonstrating the ability to conduct independent research.
- Proven ability to attract external funding for research.
