About the position
The Management and Organizational Development (MOD) Group at Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business is seeking a tenured or tenure-track faculty member with expertise in organizational behavior/management and technology/design. The ideal candidate will focus on the future of work and AI, engaging in impactful research related to human-AI interaction, ethical data use, and organizational redesign. This position may involve a joint appointment with the College of Arts Media and Design, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an independent research program.
- Teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Participate in service to the group, DMSB, CAMD, Northeastern University, and the discipline.
- Publish in top-tier journals in the field(s).
- Serve as an instructor for courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Serve on committees at the group, school, college, and/or university level.
Requirements
- Hold a doctorate in Management or a related field by the employment start date.
- Significant research record and leadership potential for experienced candidates.
- 5 years of related experience for Associate Professor level appointments.
- 7 years of related experience for Full Professor level appointments.
- Background in or commitment to working with diverse student populations and/or in culturally diverse environments.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in human-centered AI research.
- Expertise in organizational/work redesign.
- Knowledge of ethical use of data.
