About the position

The University of Arkansas School of Law is seeking applicants for a tenure/tenure track position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level to teach the Criminal Practice Clinic. The role involves teaching, supervising student work, and managing the clinic's docket, with a strong preference for candidates with clinical teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the Criminal Practice Clinic each semester.
  • Supervise student work in the clinic.
  • Teach the weekly clinic seminar.
  • Manage the clinic's docket.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney eligible to practice law in the state.
  • At least one year of clinical teaching experience (strongly preferred).
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and mentoring students.
  • Demonstrated commitment to service in legal education and the community.
