About the position
The University of Arkansas School of Law is seeking applicants for a tenure/tenure track position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level to teach the Criminal Practice Clinic. The role involves teaching, supervising student work, and managing the clinic's docket, with a strong preference for candidates with clinical teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach the Criminal Practice Clinic each semester.
- Supervise student work in the clinic.
- Teach the weekly clinic seminar.
- Manage the clinic's docket.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Licensed attorney eligible to practice law in the state.
- At least one year of clinical teaching experience (strongly preferred).
- Commitment to teaching excellence and mentoring students.
- Demonstrated commitment to service in legal education and the community.
