About the position

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a Neurologist to fill a faculty position in the Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine, specializing in Multiple Sclerosis. This role involves clinical outpatient and inpatient care, teaching responsibilities for residents, fellows, and medical students, and potential participation in research through grants or clinical trials. The position is open for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on the candidate's experience and professional accomplishments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
  • Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
  • Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.
  • Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.
  • Serve on college or university committees and participate in curriculum development activities.
  • Serve on graduate committees, supervise laboratories, independent study activities, and off-campus learning.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
  • Render service to the professional or lay community relevant to the individual's academic specialty.
  • Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • MD or DO with Board eligibility or Board certification.
  • Active State of Ohio Medical License.
  • Completion of 4 year residency in Neurology.
  • 1 year Fellowship training is ideal.
