The College of Education and Human Development invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track position at the rank of Associate or Assistant Professor in Early Childhood Education to begin Fall 2025. A successful candidate will be a dynamic and collaborative individual prepared to teach, research, and serve. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality education, serving all learners, and professional development. The candidate will be expected to engage in scholarly inquiry, gaining and supervising grants, contribute to student learning, and collaborate with colleagues within the department, university, and community. The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Learning Sciences provides undergraduate courses for educator preparation, multiple master's degree options, a combined master's and certification program, as well as a Ph.D. program. We collaborate closely with the Early Childhood Development Center, a Corpus Christi ISD PK-3 and PK-4 school situated on the TAMU-CC campus. Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the district, we actively support faculty research initiatives at the center.
