About The Position

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Indiana University School of Medicine, in collaboration with Indiana University Health, is seeking a dedicated and patient‑focused radiologist to join our Community Radiology Division serving the IU Health South Central Region. This role is based primarily at IU Health Bloomington Hospital, a modern, state‑of‑the‑art Regional Academic Health Center less than five years old and designed to support high‑quality, 21st‑century care. This position offers the rare opportunity to shape and grow a service line in a thriving community setting while benefiting from the infrastructure, stability, and academic connection of Indiana’s largest health system. Community Practice with Academic Connection: Enjoy the autonomy, collegiality, and lifestyle advantages of community radiology with the support of a top‑ranked academic department. Faculty have opportunities to participate in clinical education and, if desired, research—without the intensity of a traditional academic workload. Strong System Support: Centralized interpretations for subspecialty areas including neuroradiology, body MRI, nuclear medicine, pediatric, and musculoskeletal imaging. Advanced interventional radiology needs are handled by a dedicated IR service. Play a key role in shaping high‑quality imaging care across a growing region. Bloomington is the cultural and natural heart of Southern Indiana—combining the amenities of a Big Ten university town with the warmth of a close‑knit community. The region features state parks, Lake Monroe, vibrant arts, galleries, and affordable living. IUSM is committed to being a welcoming campus community and we seek candidates whose research, teaching, and community engagement efforts contribute to robust learning and working environments for all students, staff, and faculty. We invite individuals who will join us in our mission to improve health equity and well-being for all throughout the state of Indiana.
