About The Position

The Assistant/Associate Professor of History-Black Studies at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi is a faculty position focused on teaching and research in African American or Black Diaspora history. Requirements

• PhD in history or related field (for Assistant Rank). Advanced ABD candidates will be considered; degree must be conferred by the time of appointment.
• Five years of full-time university faculty experience including at least four years in the rank of assistant professor (for Associate Rank).
• Ability to teach courses in African American or Black Diaspora history as well as US or world history surveys.

Responsibilities
