The Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director position at Highland Community College is a dual role that encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at supporting the intercollegiate athletic program. The position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with media personnel, coaches, and the community. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise student workers and game administration staff, ensuring that all operations run smoothly during athletic events. This includes recruiting, training, and scheduling staff for game day functions, as well as managing the distribution of sports information scholarships.
