The Assistant Athletic Director of External Operations at Life University plays a crucial role in overseeing and supervising the athletic department's operations to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness across various areas. In this role, the Assistant Athletic Director will plan, administer, conduct, and evaluate all responsibilities with a focus on operational excellence. This includes overseeing the scheduling and communication of all athletic facilities, collaborating with camp partners to ensure efficient usage, and managing facility rentals for outside groups. The position also involves resolving facility-related issues, building and maintaining positive relationships with current sponsors, and seeking out potential partners to generate revenue and meet fundraising goals. Additionally, the Assistant Athletic Director will serve as the liaison to campus partners, assist in game day operations, supervise work-study students, and support the academic performance of student-athletes. This includes monitoring class schedules, grades, and eligibility certification. The role also requires planning and executing annual events, processing invoices for department purchasing, and contributing to collective purchasing efforts.
