About the position
This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with NCAA and various conference rules, focusing on the academic well-being of student-athletes. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance systems while serving as a liaison among athletics, the Registrar, faculty, and advisors. Additionally, the position supports the Senior Associate AD for Operations in executing institutional and departmental policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement systems to ensure compliance with NCAA and conference rules.
- Monitor compliance systems and report on their effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary liaison between athletics, the Registrar, faculty members, and advisors regarding student-athlete academic well-being.
- Assist the Senior Associate AD for Operations in implementing institutional and departmental policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3 years of related experience in compliance or academic support.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with coaches, students, faculty, administration, and the community.
