The Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing, Outreach, & Operations at Franklin Pierce University is a pivotal role within the Athletic Department, responsible for the comprehensive planning, implementation, and management of all aspects related to the department's annual giving initiatives. This full-time, 12-month position is based in Rindge, New Hampshire, and requires a proactive approach to enhance donor engagement and support the overall mission of the university's athletic programs. In this role, the Assistant Athletic Director will oversee the planning and execution of various donor events, including prestigious gatherings such as the Hall of Fame, alumni weekends, away game tailgates, and the Rocky Classic Golf Tournament. The position entails meticulous coordination of donor hospitality, particularly during football game days at Raven Row, ensuring that all aspects of donor relationships are managed effectively. This includes handling invoicing, renewals, ticketing inquiries, catering arrangements, and addressing special requests from donors. Additionally, the Assistant Athletic Director will coordinate special initiatives related to the Raven Fund, such as Giving Day, and manage the annual calendar of Raven Fund events. Financial oversight is also a critical component of this role, as the individual will maintain accurate records of expenditures related to the Ravens Fund and other associated activities. The creation and distribution of all communications for the Ravens Fund, including acknowledgment letters, newsletters, new member packets, postcards, and brochures, will also fall under the purview of this position. The role requires active solicitation of gifts and cultivation of relationships with donors, alongside managing the sales and marketing campaigns for athletic events. Collaboration with the athletic administrative team and support staff is essential to enhance the fan experience and represent the Athletic Department at various university and community events. Furthermore, the Assistant Athletic Director will oversee and coordinate the efforts of assigned student staff, interns, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
