About the position

Responsibilities
- Assist with providing medical care and coverage for twelve intercollegiate sports.
- Travel and provide athletic training coverage for selected sports, emphasizing football and baseball.
- Maintain comprehensive injury, treatment, and rehabilitation records.
- Develop rehabilitation and strengthening strategies for treatment, prevention, and off-season periods.
- Handle pre-participation physical examinations for all student-athletes.
- Attend departmental and athletic training staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- NATABOC certification as an athletic trainer.
- Illinois Licensed or eligible before start date.
- 2+ years' experience at the collegiate level.
- CPR and First Aid certified and meet the education minimum standards of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
