The Assistant Banking Center Manager at Central Bank of the Ozarks plays a crucial role in supporting the Banking Center Manager in overseeing branch operations. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, providing exceptional customer service, and leading the teller customer service area. The role also involves assisting in sales development activities and fostering a teamwork environment to meet sales goals and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Banking Center Manager in all phases of branch operations.
• Assume responsibility for the branch in the Banking Center Manager's absence.
• Ensure staff compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Provide customer services including opening accounts and resolving banking problems.
• Lead and supervise the teller customer service area as appropriate.
• Act as a resource for staff regarding operational and customer issues.
• Assist in sales development activities including training and coaching.
• Create a teamwork environment to ensure quality service and meet sales goals.
• Set an example for staff in customer service and sales.
• Conduct activities consistent with bank policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Thorough knowledge of teller and new account functions, bank regulations, policies, and products.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• PC and typing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Good judgment skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately, analyze information, and make decisions.
• Willingness to assume additional responsibilities as they arise.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
