  • Order supplies for the department, including china, glass, silver, and other service equipment needs.
  • Understand the impact of banquet operations on overall event success and manage activities to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in scheduling banquet service staff to forecast and service standards while maximizing profits.
  • Lead shifts and actively participate in the servicing of events.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, responding to and handling guest problems and complaints.
  • Support a departmental orientation program for new employees and ensure they understand expectations and parameters.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, or a related professional area.
  • Knowledge of wine and food pairings.
