About the position
Oasis Bath Solutions is seeking an Assistant Bath and Shower Installer to join their installation team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to enter a high-paying niche market in remodeling, with potential for advancement into lead positions. The role involves traveling to customer homes to install bath and shower products, working under the guidance of a crew lead to learn necessary installation skills while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install Oasis Bath Solutions products at customers' homes according to manufacturer's installation policy and instructions.
- Install fixtures, plumbing, and wall panels in compliance with local building codes.
- Work collaboratively under the supervision of the crew lead/Install Manager.
- Prep, remove, dispose, and clean up job sites daily.
- Receive, unload, and organize deliveries to the company shop/warehouse, including heavy lifting.
- Arrive on time for installations and loading at the warehouse, maintaining professionalism with homeowners and coworkers.
- Resolve customer and job issues as they arise, communicating effectively with installation management and office staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service, respecting homeowners' property and wishes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential remodeling, especially bathroom remodeling is preferred.
- General construction experience will also be considered.
- Ability to build rapport with homeowners and maintain professionalism throughout the installation process.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and possess a teachable and coachable attitude.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in general remodeling or construction is a plus.
