About the position

The Assistant Bookkeeper at Twin Oaks Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center plays a crucial role in supporting the Administrator with day-to-day Accounts Receivable and administrative office management. This position involves assisting the Bookkeeper in payroll procedures and fostering relationships with personnel, contributing to the overall efficiency of the healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Administrator in managing day-to-day Accounts Receivable and office management functions.
  • Support the Bookkeeper in organizing, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring payroll procedures.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with personnel within the facility.
  • Oversee bookkeeping functions related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of two years of formal training and experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and office management.
  • Experience with insurance billing, specifically Medicare and Medicaid.
