About the position
The Assistant Boys Soccer Coach will support the head coach in training and developing student-athletes, ensuring they are prepared for competition while fostering a positive team environment. This role requires obtaining a coaching endorsement and adhering to state regulations for secondary coaches.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices.
- Support the development of student-athletes' skills and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sports regulations.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
- Help manage game day operations and logistics.
Requirements
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience in sports coaching.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Coaching endorsement through the Professional Teaching Standards Board.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience coaching soccer at the high school level.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
