About The Position

The Assistant Branch Manager at Eglin Federal Credit Union is responsible for supporting branch operations and preparing for a management role. This position involves filling in for various roles within the branch, assisting members with financial services, and promoting credit union products. The role requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to resolve member issues and represent the credit union in the community.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of similar or related experience, with 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in information gathering and presentation techniques.
• Proficient with general office equipment, including PC and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve in any capacity needed in Branch Operations, filling in for managers and supervisors as assigned.
• Assist members with loans and other financial services, approving or disapproving loans as necessary.
• Resolve member problems to their satisfaction and keep the Branch Operations Manager informed of any complaints.
• Represent EFCU at community events and functions as requested by the Branch Operations Manager.
• Assist management in researching, planning, and implementing new products and policies.
• Promote and cross-sell Credit Union products and services.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
