The Assistant Branch Manager manages the day-to-day activities of the branch team members to ensure that team members are meeting established branch goals and service standards. This includes supporting and promoting the Fox purpose, mission, vision, and values and the Member Experience programs and ensuring that the branch operates within staffing module guidelines. The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Branch Manager role include but are not limited to: Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values Assisting the Senior Branch Operations Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members for the branch team Supporting the growth and development of the branch team by partnering with department leaders to provide daily performance coaching and growth and development coaching to team members Monitoring branch goals and other performance and operational measures, and working with the Senior Branch Operations Manager to ensure that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory results Overseeing service and staffing levels of the branch, including MRO team members, to make sure the branch has adequate coverage and is responding to members' needs quickly while ensuring the members' overall experience is of the highest quality Assisting with organizing and leading monthly team meetings to discuss areas needing improvement, changes to procedures or services, new developments, and to present general information and updates Monitoring all branch activities to ensure compliance with established credit union policies and procedures Monitoring key products/sales within the branch office to ensure profitable and sound business practices for the credit union, a high quality of service for members, and that team members are maximizing opportunities to sell products Building strong member relationships by uncovering member needs and suggesting relevant products and services; ensuring the branch team is also maintaining this high standard Coaching team members on their service, technical, and cross sales skills on a monthly basis Ensuring branch facilities are maintained and serviced appropriately Maintaining communication with Senior Branch Operations Manager regarding branch team members, general building maintenance, and members Representing the credit union as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups Confidentially, accurately, and effectively processing member transactions and account maintenance (including opening new accounts as branch needs require), and assisting members with problem resolution as needed Utilizing Gallup Resources to improve the engagement of team members Candidates for the Assistant Branch Manager position should possess: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program Three to five years of similar or related experience Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for supervising a team and servicing credit union members Ability to successfully resolve conflict and problem solve Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills Highly organized and detail oriented Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Flexible availability, including rotating Saturdays Branch hours: Mon.-Fri. 8am-5:30pm & Sat. 9am-12pm (Every third Saturday rotation) Fox Communities Credit Union is a $3 billion in assets community-based credit union serving more than 130,000 members at over 20 locations.
