The ABOM will be involved in various supervisory responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Operations Manager in directing daily warehouse operations.
• Supervise associates working in the warehouse and as delivery drivers, especially during peak business hours.
• Maintain daily workflow for delivery orders and ensure replenishment orders are processed according to company standards.
• Participate in planning personnel safety, training, and plant protection activities.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and make recommendations regarding safety issues.
• Conduct interviews, hiring, and training of associates; plan, assign, and direct work; assist with performance appraisals.

Requirements

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Proficiency in using a computer, copy machine, fax machine, telephone, and calculator.
