About the position

As an Assistant Branch Service Manager at O'Hara's Son Roofing Company, you will support the operations and management of the branch office, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily Service operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow within the branch.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager, National Service team, and branch team members to coordinate and prioritize tasks, service projects, and day-to-day technician assignments.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in managing client accounts and relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Support the Branch Manager in managing and developing a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new team members, ensuring they receive proper onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Assist in managing branch budgets, expenses, and financial performance in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations, conducting regular safety meetings, and enforcing safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry or a similar field, with exposure to operations and customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, industry practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
  • Leadership abilities with a proven track record of effectively managing teams and driving results.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and project management software.
