About the position

The Assistant Business Office Manager at Allegiant Healthcare is responsible for overseeing billing and collections processes within a skilled nursing facility. This role involves managing daily census reconciliation, payment posting, and ensuring compliance with various billing requirements including Medicare and Medicaid. Responsibilities

  • Manage SNF billing and collections including UB04 & 1500 forms.
  • Conduct daily census reconciliation and payment posting.
  • Handle research, appeals, and resubmission of Assisted Living, Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, and Private pay claims.
  • Perform deposits and reconciliation of payments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in skilled nursing facility billing and collections.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate cooperation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with PCC, RFMS, Inovolan, and Medicare DDE.
