Responsibilities

  • Oversee front-end operations and staff, including cashiers and clerks, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Manage night crew operations, including receiving functions and facility security.
  • Ensure productivity standards are met and manage shrink in assigned areas.
  • Supervise and train associates to promote a positive work culture and high performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation compliance throughout the store.
  • Oversee inventory processes and ensure price integrity in assigned areas.
  • Manage the cold chain and ensure proper product conditions and rotation.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Supervisory and training experience.
  • Organizational and paperwork/administration skills.
  • Basic math skills and knowledge of department operations and products.
  • Experience in visual merchandising techniques and food safety rules.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a Key Carrier or Perimeter Department Manager.
  • One year of college education or equivalent experience.
