The Assistant Chief Information Officer (ACIO) for the School of Medicine (SOM) at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) plays a pivotal role in overseeing and leading the development and administration of information technology (IT), digital transformation, and artificial intelligence (AI) programs and services.
