About the position

The Assistant Chief Information Officer (ACIO) for the County of Los Angeles plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the long-term technology strategies that align with the County's priorities. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the ACIO collaborates with senior leaders across various departments, including operations, technology, compliance, communications, legal, and Human Resources. This position is highly visible and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across the County.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term technology strategies in support of County priorities.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across various departments to align technology initiatives with operational goals.
• Oversee the implementation of technology projects and ensure they meet compliance and operational standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to technology teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate technology trends and their potential impact on County operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in a government or large organizational setting.
• Strong understanding of technology strategy development and execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in managing large-scale technology projects and teams.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to technology.
