About the position

The Assistant Chief of Staff and Marketing Strategist will support the Office of the President at Stella May Contracting, Inc. This part-time consultant role focuses on executing initiatives that align with the company's vision, working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that enhance administrative operations, business development, and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and refine business strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, summarizing key findings and recommending actionable strategies.
  • Assist in various operational projects, which may include process improvement initiatives, research, and data gathering.
  • Perform research and analysis to inform strategic decisions and business plans.
  • Develop and update existing operational plans.
  • Provide support in drafting, reviewing, and standardizing company workflow diagrams.
  • Assist in managing leased and purchased real estate assets, including vendors and property maintenance.
  • Organize and maintain proper communications among departments to ensure smooth information flow within the organization.
  • Input and manage data in spreadsheets and databases and assist in basic data analysis tasks.
  • Assist/Lead in coordinating business development and marketing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Assist/Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely execution.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, and report updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Business development and estimating team to develop and maintain client relationships through regular communication, follow-up, and relationship-building activities.
  • Organize client meetings, events, and presentations to foster engagement and strengthen partnerships.
  • Respond to client inquiries, requests, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of the Office of the President & Human Capital Strategist, including scheduling and preparing for meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 6 years of experience in sales.
  • 5 years of experience in business consulting and marketing strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
