Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a dedicated Clinic Radiology Technologist Assistant to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Clinic Radiology Technologist Assistant will greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive. This includes collecting insurance co-payments and responding to routine requests for information, which are vital for maintaining patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. In addition to patient interaction, the assistant will be responsible for scheduling and maintaining a calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements. This includes coordinating related administrative aspects such as agendas, site selection, food and beverage selections, audio-visual arrangements, and document preparation. The role requires proficiency in entering patient information into the computer system and coordinating appointments with other areas or physician offices as needed. The assistant will also handle telephone calls, triaging clinical calls and resolving problems appropriately, which is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. The position also involves managing patient medical records, including assembling, copying, and releasing records as necessary. The assistant will work closely with the Medical Records Department regarding requests for notes and additional information. Generating basic reports, modifying and updating existing reports, and distributing them as needed are also key responsibilities. The assistant will be expected to operate and maintain office equipment, order supplies, and complete referrals while tracking and following up on the need for re-authorizations. This role is integral to the administrative support of the radiology department, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
