About the position

The Department of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to effectively manage various clinical research/trial/study activities. You will demonstrate a keen understanding of project requirements and execute tasks efficiently to support the timely completion of projects. Additionally, you will assist in planning and organizing tasks to ensure strict adherence to study protocols and regulatory guidelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful research initiatives within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to manage clinical research activities.
  • Assist in planning and organizing tasks to ensure adherence to study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Execute tasks efficiently to support the timely completion of projects.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of project requirements and respond to changing job demands and priorities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport and build relationships.

  • Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more than one individual.
  • Typing and computer skills including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, and data entry.
  • Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential material information with judgement and discretion.
