About the position

The Assistant Community Association Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the lead Community Association Manager(s) by providing clerical and administrative assistance. This position serves as a liaison between the community manager and various stakeholders, including homeowners, vendors, and board members. The role is designed for energetic and dedicated professionals looking to build a long-lasting career in community management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the operation and administration of the Association in accordance with management agreement and the Association's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain online database, including updating resident information.
  • Process violation letters, manage community gate access, and respond to phone and email communications.
  • Act as a liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners as needed.
  • Perform administrative duties as requested by the Board of Directors or community manager.
  • Prepare board correspondence as directed by the community manager.
  • Maintain files/data relating to the operations of the Association.
  • Assist with the architectural review process and leasing program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of communities/property/real estate and homeowners associations desirable.
  • Knowledge of Community Association Management desirable.
  • Expert level knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Expert proficiency in computer technology and software systems.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Proactive, detail-focused, and enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
  • Associates Degree Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • 0 - 3 years of Community Association experience.
