About the position

As an Assistant Community Construction Manager at K. Hovnanian, you will play a pivotal role in the home building and community development process. This position is integral to ensuring that the final phases of construction meet the high standards expected by our customers. You will be responsible for supervising subcontractor activities, monitoring costs, and implementing cost controls to ensure that projects stay within budget. Your role will also involve walking through homes at various stages of construction to ensure that quality standards are met and that customer expectations are exceeded. This position offers you the autonomy to make decisions that directly impact the quality of homes built, allowing you to contribute to the creation of spaces where families will create lasting memories. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated on-site construction team, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that every detail is attended to. Your general knowledge of finish construction, from drywall installation to the closing phase, will be essential in guiding subcontractors and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to leverage technology and support provided by K. Hovnanian to effectively organize and monitor construction activities, making a significant impact on the overall success of our projects.

Requirements
