The Assistant Community Manager at TAVA Waters Apartments plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the property and delivering exceptional service to residents and prospective tenants. The Assistant Community Manager is expected to represent BH Management Services in a professional and courteous manner, embodying the company's commitment to customer service and community engagement. In this role, the Assistant Community Manager will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the leasing area and lobby, ensuring that it is always welcoming and presentable. They will assist in planning and implementing special functions and resident activities, fostering a sense of community among residents. The position also requires maintaining up-to-date information regarding construction projects, amenities, and services available to residents, ensuring that all inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively. The Assistant Community Manager will handle check-in procedures for residents and guests, communicate with residents about their needs, and follow up on service requests to ensure satisfaction. General office administrative duties will include answering phones, managing emails and correspondence, and overseeing incoming mail for the property. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with leasing duties, such as conducting tours for prospective residents and preparing lease agreements as needed. This position is essential for creating a positive living experience for residents and supporting the overall goals of BH Management Services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective customer service to all prospective tenants, current residents, and property staff by utilizing in-depth knowledge of the property and its functions.
  • Maintain the appearance of the leasing area and lobby.
  • Assist with planning and implementation of special functions and resident activities.
  • Maintain information concerning construction projects, rehab upgrades, amenities, facilities, services, and activities for the community.
  • Handle appropriate check-in procedures for residents and guests.
  • Communicate with residents regarding needs and follow up on completed service requests.
  • Perform general office administrative duties including answering phones, emails, written correspondence, and managing incoming mail for the property.
  • Assist with leasing job duties, including touring prospective residents and preparation of lease agreements, as directed to meet business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and office equipment skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers
  • A valid driver's license may be required
  • Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law
