About the position

The Assistant Community Manager at Aspenridge plays a vital role in supporting the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community. This position involves managing accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, processing payments, and ensuring excellent customer service to residents. The role is essential for maintaining the community's operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational facets of the community.
  • Complete accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including preparing monthly close-out and financial reports.
  • Process invoices for payment and collect rent, fees, and other payments.
  • Complete bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations.
  • Use property management software to record, track, and report on financial workings of the community.
  • Assist the leasing team in conducting apartment tours, both virtual and in-person.
  • Review and submit invoices from vendors and contractors for payment.
  • Process resident move-outs in accordance with lease terms and legal requirements.
  • Respond to resident questions and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Act as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous property management experience is required, fee management preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Yardi/OneSite software highly desired.
  • Financially savvy with experience in creating and adhering to budgets and fiscal reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of professionalism in manner and dress.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
