About the position

The Assistant Community Manager at Dayrise Residential plays a crucial role in the office team, focusing on customer service and assisting in various management tasks such as rent collection, leasing activities, renewals, and financial reporting. This position is essential for maintaining effective communication with the community's residents and ensuring a high level of service is delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Collection of rent payments and management of customer service.
  • Address the concerns of current and prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Conduct tours and lease apartments as necessary.
  • Lead communication with delinquent residents, which may involve lease termination and legal action if necessary.
  • Assist in managing the community's budget by making sound fiscal decisions to increase net operating income.
  • Help maintain the accuracy of resident ledgers and files.
  • Inspect apartments during move-in and move-outs, walking apartments and the community as needed.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Property Management.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • A clear understanding of business concepts, processes, and principles of strategic thinking.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of multifamily operations including people management, financial reporting, problem-solving, sales, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and basic computer technology skills; OneSite experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in MS Office Word/Excel and basic computer technology skills; OneSite experience preferred.
