The Assistant Community Manager (ACM) at Vicinia Property Management plays a crucial role in supporting the Community Manager in the daily operations of an apartment community. The ACM's primary objectives include enhancing the net operating income, maintaining the physical property, ensuring a quality living environment for residents, and fostering a positive working relationship with the community staff. This position serves as a preparatory role for individuals aspiring to become Community Managers, with responsibilities increasing as the incumbent gains knowledge and experience in property management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in all operations of the apartment community.
• Increase the net operating income of the community.
• Maintain the physical asset of the property.
• Provide a quality living environment for residents.
• Establish a positive and productive working relationship with community staff.
• Assume greater responsibilities as knowledge of property management increases.
• Serve as the responsible individual for the community in the absence of the Community Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• A college degree or related coursework in business management, hospitality management, or property management is beneficial.
• Property management and leasing experience is essential.
• Sales experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are necessary.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Experience with computerized property management and/or accounting software is preferred.
