About the position

The Assistant Community Manager/Lifestyle Director plays a crucial role in supporting the management of Community Association operations. This position involves planning and executing community events while ensuring exceptional customer service to owners, residents, clients, and vendors. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve questions or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Assist with daily financial management and recordkeeping.
  • Support the bid process for community projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the site as needed.
  • Maintain records in Connect, including work orders and resident information.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all files and correspondence according to company procedures.
  • Attend Board meetings and assist with preparation of meeting agendas and reports.
  • Establish an annual calendar for association activities and deadlines.
  • Assist walk-in homeowners and refer to the Community Manager when necessary.
  • Handle mailings as required.
  • Maintain recordkeeping binders for various community documents.
  • Assist with the activities and events calendar.
  • Collaborate with volunteer committees to plan and execute events.
  • Meet weekly with the Community Manager to ensure completion of action items.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and budgeting procedures.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to keep complex records and prepare reports in a timely manner.
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan, and organize multiple programs effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management.
