About the position

The Assistant Community Manager at Conifer Realty plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of the leasing office at Rittenberg Manor and White Oak Mantua. This position involves assisting the Community Manager in marketing and leasing apartments, ensuring compliance with programs, and maintaining positive relations with residents and the public. The role requires effective collaboration with various teams to manage apartment turnovers, leasing processes, and resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a clean and well-maintained community.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all operations of the leasing office and support the Community Manager.
• Market and lease apartments quickly and efficiently.
• Promote good working relationships with residents and the public.
• Ensure program compliance and perform necessary office tasks.
• Qualify new tenants and provide tours of the community.
• Handle all details of move-ins according to inspection checklists.
• Manage maintenance requests for timely completion.
• Ensure residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
• Collaborate with the Community Manager and community team, as well as key partners in Maintenance, Compliance, and Property Management.
• Assist with move-outs and actively seek new residents.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years prior apartment management experience, preferably with Low-income Tax Credit and Section 8 experience.
• Resident recertification experience preferred in affordable housing.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong customer service skills to interact with team, residents, prospective residents, housing authority representatives, and visitors.
