About the position

The Assistant Community Manager at Wythe Apartment Homes plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and management of our multi-family property. This position reports directly to the Community Manager and is essential in maintaining resident satisfaction, coordinating leasing activities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the property. In this role, you will apply creative sales strategies to motivate leasing consultants and achieve occupancy goals. You will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, motivating, and developing a highly skilled team while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the property management team. Collaboration with various departments is key to ensuring effective property operations and maintaining a positive living environment for residents. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in leasing activities, such as conducting property tours, processing applications, and executing leases. Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents is vital, as you will address their needs and concerns promptly. You will coordinate maintenance and repair requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues to enhance resident satisfaction. Financial management is another critical aspect of this role. You will assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking to achieve property financial goals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation is essential, along with providing administrative assistance, including lease document preparation and background checks. Supporting rent collection, tracking delinquencies, and coordinating lease renewals will also be part of your duties. Marketing and outreach efforts will be part of your responsibilities, where you will contribute to creating and promoting property-specific materials and social media updates. Participating in outreach activities to attract potential residents and maintain high occupancy rates is crucial for the success of the property. Additionally, you will collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure high-quality services and timely repairs. Ensuring compliance with property management policies, fair housing laws, and relevant regulations is a key responsibility, and you will need to stay informed about changes in property management laws and regulations.

Requirements
