About the position

The Assistant Community Manager at RPM Living plays a crucial role in enhancing resident satisfaction and property visibility. This position involves greeting prospects, managing applications and leases, handling rent collections and evictions, and promoting effective communication through social media. Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in Lead Management Software.
• Assist prospects with applications and deposits, adhering to company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Keep an updated availability report, process applications, and follow up with applicants on their status.
• Show apartments and close sales, prepare them for move-ins, and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, send renewal notices, and handle move-outs based on lease terms.
• Manage rental collections, enforce lease terms, and initiate eviction when needed.
• Promote resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and service requests promptly.
• Conduct market research and implement outreach marketing strategies.
• Maintain an active and effective social media presence for the property.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for generating leases and other peak periods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of relevant experience, training, or a combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• A background in accounting combined with customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in property management software such as Radix or equivalent.
